FACILITATION-CUM-DEMONSTRATION CENTRES
24 Numbers of Facilitation-cum-Demonstration Centres across the division
at different locations provide a common platform to the orchardists/ Horticulture
entrepreneurs to showcase & sell their products along with the products
produced in departmental nurseries and Canning Centres. The facilitation
centres are digitally connected that one has to just register his demand such as
quality planting material, farm produce or canned products at the nearest
facilitation centre and availability shall be made at an earliest. In addition to this,
the orchardists can also register their grievances on these centres for their timely
redressal. Training is also being imparted to orchardists in the art of fruit
processing. This is proving to be a tool for socio-economic upliftment of farming
