As per HAPIS PORTAL 2019-20, among fresh fruit crops of Jammu
Division, maximum area falls under Apple cultivation (17723.30 Ha), followed by
Citrus (13996.81 Ha) and Mango (13691.99 Ha). Apple ranks first in production
(31371.65 MT) followed by Citrus (30837.96 MT) and Mango (28667.09 MT).
In case of dry fruits , Walnut has the leading production (81302.47 MT) as
well as ranks first in respect of area (38690.04 Ha).
