Many initiatives have been taken up in the Horticulture sector to enhance
growth prospects of the economy of the Union Territory. The department has brought
out this book to bring before the public and to let them know about the schemes in an

ease manner.

Special focus is being given to improve the quality and enhance the quantity of
production by supporting high-density plantation programme.

farming community.

common masses especially farmers of the UT of J&K.
